Milodon Hi-Volume / Hi-Pressure Oil Pumps provide a 20% to 30% increase in oil pump performance both in volume and pressure. And most heavy duty and performance applications require an increase in both areas. Increased bearing loads, increased RPM and horsepower all place greater demand on the oil system which, if not up to the job, can cause very premature engine failure. All Milodon oil pumps are 100% flow tested to assure you the quality your engine demands.

OIL PUMP PRIMERS
Before starting a new motor, proper priming of the system is absolutely critical. These oil pump primers prohibit needless engine wear from improper lubrication upon initial start-up. These oil pump primers allow you to drive the oil pump with a 3/8" drill once the distributor is removed. The Chevy "Pro Model" not only primes the oil pump and bottom end but also the lifters and rocker assemblies. The "Pro Model" also has a top support that locks down with the distributor clamp to provide "hands free" operation. All are black oxide finished.

For all extreme use applications from Super Gas to Top Fuel. This oil pump has the necessary volume required for high horsepower, larger cubic inch and high RPM engines. Special Milodon 1.100" tall gear outputs more volume, while requiring less horse- power to drive than a standard 1.250" Chrysler style gear set. Oil pump will flow a minimum of 19 GPM up to 21 GPM. Housing and gear set require additional oil pump cover specific to the application. 
Note: This oil pump  does not use stock Chrysler 0-ring around gear set. Special supplied 0-ring must be used, also available in oil system rebuild kit #21590.

Early Hemi (354-392) - For any application from Nostalgia Top Fuel to Street Rod. Uses a late model 340 high volume oil pump with 1.030" tall gears that are adapted to the 392 main cap. On a 354, a minor rework of the mounting bolt holes is required. Special pump cover and pick-up ensures maximum oil pump flow and volume. Gear shaft is made from 4130 chrome moly to reduce twist under high loads. Uses a stock intermediate shaft. Designed for stock rear sump and Milodon 31162 pans.

Early Hemi (354-392) - Designed for the #30932 rear sump, street rod style pan and the #18342 tube pickup.
