DRY SUMP
Dry sump pan built for left and right turn applications featuring full kick-out and an evacuation channel positioned for most convenient oil line routing to the left side. Pan floor is designed to quickly funnel all oil to the channel. Three 12AN fittings, one located at the front, middle and rear of the channel. Features high-efficiency screen oil separator. Full kick-out provides increased power output. Requires a mini starter to be used. 
Pan will fit a 4" stroke crank with Carillo or Eagle style rod.

Designed originally for performance street and road racing in the 1967 to 74 Firebird with 389-455 engines, where heavy acceleration, deceleration and hard turns are involved. Features trap door, baffle system and increased oil capacity to ensure ample oil supply. Pan has straight, non-kicked out sides to allow starter removal and extra header clearance in the tight Firebird chassis. Pan fits well with Doug's Headers with all size header tubes. Will niot fit 1967-1969 Firebird.

Road Race sump increases capacity and allows ample ground clearance. Five highly effective trap doors provide 100% oil control. This results in consistent oil pressure under heavy acceleration and  in & out of the corners, as well as increases power output. Has 1/2" pipe fitting for an oil temp sender. Stock steering will not interfere with this pan. Pan is shallower than any others and sits above the k-member.

Note: For oil pan to work correctly, engine must have adequate oil return to the pan. Use of the Milodon windage tray adjusted properly is highly recommended.

Will fit 1967-1972 chassis, 1973-1976 chasis and early 67-72 chassis with the 73-76 K-member.

External Pickup Version #31680 -
Pickup line exists away from headers unlike some other manufacturers. The in-pan portion of the pickup is removable for inspection and cleaning. A full 12AN line size is available from the pickup entyrance all the way to the oil pump bypassing restrictive internal passages. This system should be adequate for use over 7000 RPM. Requires pickup system #24055.

Internal Pickup Version #31681 -
For cruising or occational racing, this pan provides adequate street ground clearence with increased oil volume and control. Using an internal pickup this pan is adequate up to 6500 - 7000 RPM. Requires pickup #18401.
