SOLID LOUVERED TRAYS

Specially contoured solid trays with louvers that permits rapid return of oil to sump. This windage tray provides optimum protection against oil splash-back and provides increased power. Ideal for all street and strip applications.
Adjustable tray studs are easily installed to mount the tray on the mains. Remove one main cap and run a flat nosed tap into the bolt hole to finish threads right to the bottom, install the tray studs lightly into the block with an Allen wrench, install the main cap and troque to 65 ft/lbs with oil. Install the washer faced nut flange up and lay the tray on, adjust the tray height to 1/8" minimum above the rods, install and tighten the top flange nut to 35 ft/lb.

THE "DIAMOND STRIPPER" SCREEN WINDAGE TRAY

The most sophisticated windage tray available today! This exclusive Milodon design features hundreds of small louvers that quickly scavenge oil from crankshaft rotation, but prevents splash back common to screen-type windage trays. This is a completely finished, gold irridited part that does not require additional fitting. And it flat works! Extensive dynometer and on-track testing verifies that Milodon "Diamond Stripper" windage trays out-perform all other screen type trays.
Small Block Chevy trays will fit both the 350 and 400 bolt pattern. They will also fit right and left side dipsticks with the tray adjusted properly,as the dipstick will go underneath the tray.

OIL PUMP STUD

The professional way to mount an oil pump. Centerless ground from 8740 chrome moly steel and features rolled and heat-treated threads, ground washer, and grade 8 nut. Torque: 50 ft./Ibs. with oil.

WINDAGE TRAY INSTALL KIT

Required to properly mount the tray assembly, adjustable mounting position allows the tray to work at its maximum potential by being as close as possible to the rotating assembly (min.100") and to avoid any unnecessary interference with the oil pan. Install the 7/16" nuts torqued to 65 ft./lbs.or 1/2" to 85 ft/lbs using oil, and the 3/8" nuts torqued to 35 ft./lbs.

The Small Block Mopar and 392 tray mounts on windage tray kit #81151 on #3 and #4 main caps. This allows adjustment for larger strokes as well as aluminum rods. The tray has a notch to allow the pickup to exit the oil pump without interference. This tray will work with all oil pans including stock. Block bolt holes must be trapped with a flat nose tap as deep as possible so we achieve maximum thread engagement as welll as keeping the stud as short as possible to avoid oil pan interference.

This tray was the one used in the Mopar new Hemi Drag Pak
cars to cure the windage problems they were having at higher RPM's. Tray will allows clearence for a stroker crank. Will accomadate a rear, mid or front sump pickups. Works with all 5.7 / 6.1 / 6.4 and Hellcat 6.2 oil pans. Requires #40750 gasket pair.

WINDAGE TRAYS ADD POWER !

On a 400 horsepower street engine,

a louvered tray can add about 12 to 15 hp;

a screen tray can add up to 25 hp.

The Big Block Mopar trays will accomodate a stock 3.750"
stroke or anything up to a stroke up to 4.500". For pans with mid or rear mounted pickups, there is the #32006 tray with openings to allow the pickup. All these trays sandwitch between two pan gaskets to mount.

The 32005 and 32006 trays are redesigned for better windage scavaging and increased sump protection for big inch engines.

When installing the pickup should be installed to almost tight first. Then rotate it away from the block. If pickup uses a bolt up bracket, install it now and torque the main bolt. Intall the install the tray over the pickup. Then rotate the pickup the final 1/2 turn to its final postion.

LIFTER VALLEY BAFFLE

Keeps hot oil off the intake manifold, allowing a cooler fuel mix making more power. Keeps surplus oil out of valve covers leaving more in the oil pan. Maintains oil pressure, during pushrod or rocker arm failure by keeping lifters in their bores, except with roller cams.

OIL PAN REAR BAFFLE

An easy addition to assure added horsepower. Every Chevy engine should run one regardless of use. Installed between the oil pump and rear main, this special baffle effectively prevents oil from climbing up the rear of the pan getting into the crankshaft during any acceleration especially hard lauches.

MAGNETIC DRAIN PLUG

Super strength magnet draws any metal particles out of the oil flow before they can scare your bearings on the way to the filter. Particules are held for inspection until you change the oil showing problems early before they get worse. 1/2"-20 fine thread fits all Milodon pans, except marine applications.
