High power output design uses a  deeper pan front to allow the use of a full length competition style windage to yield the most available power. Tray fastened into the pan so no extra mounting is required. Pan fits stock crossmember without modification when the correct Tall-Narrow frame and engine motor mounts are used. The Short-Wide mounts can not be used. Low profile sump allows good ground clearance, use of the stock starter and oil filter yet increases capacity. Includes high strength magnetic drain plug.

Pan will fit a 4" stroke crank with Carillo or Eagle style rods.

The Low Profile "triangulated" sump design that was originally developed by Milodon over three decades ago gives both adequate ground clearance, as well as sufficient oil capacity for any kind of high performance use.  This pan is equally suited for use on the street or strip.  It will fit all Chevy chassis, except '62-'67 Nova. Oil control baffles 100% subdue oil movement and provide increased horsepower.

Unlike imports that either have no baffling or very thin, poorly spot welded baffles, the Milodon stock pan has quality material, heli-arc welded baffles to control oil movement.
