Copper Head Gaskets

COPPER HEAD GASKETS

  • TOP FUEL car or STREET car, there are NO better gaskets !

  • For Turbo, Nitrous High Compression, Blown Applications

Copper head gaskets are designed for use in all high performance applications that require an extra measure of sealing or use very high compression. Whether the application is Top Fuel, Circle Track or even Street, there is no better sealing or more durable gasket material than solid copper.
Precision CNC machined from a sheet of solid copper, these copper head gaskets offer precise bore and stud hole alignment for a drop-on fit. Being solid, they will not compress so there is no need to re-torque and being solid they can not blowout.
Regardless of the type of use, these copper head gaskets are reusable with proper handling and installation, for many engine rebuilds. These copper head gaskets can be used with or without stainless steel 0-ring wire installed in the block. They are totally acceptable for street use, as long as a THIN bead of silicone is applied on both sides of the gasket around ALL the water passage holes. All cylinder bores are totally round and are not notched for valve clearance, except the Hemi and TFX.
Copper head gaskets may cost more initially, but the improved sealing and reusability make these well worth the investment in the long run. Each set contains two ready-to-use "dead soft" copper head gaskets.

O-ring wire is not needed unless actual compression ratio is 14:1 and over. This included blown and turbo engines. On engines using water cooling, as opposed to dry Top Fuel and Alcohol, etc engines, a thin bead of silicone must be applied around all water passageways on both sides of the gasket. Nothing is needed to seal the compression.
